Maintenance Tips
-
Finger-Style to Preserve Curls: Never use standard hairbrushes; gently separate the tight curls with your fingers or a wide-tooth pick starting from the tips to maintain definition and avoid frizz.
-
Wash in Cool Water: Soak the unit in cool or lukewarm water mixed with a mild synthetic-safe shampoo, swirl it very gently without scrubbing the fibers, and rinse thoroughly.
-
Air Dry on a Stand: Blot away excess moisture gently with a microfiber towel and allow the unit to air dry completely on a wig stand or mannequin head to keep the curls springy.
-
Utilize Mousse for Freshness: Revitalize and define the kinky curl pattern between wears by applying a small dollop of lightweight, alcohol-free styling or foam wrap mousse.
-
Store Loosely: When not in use, store the unit loose on a mannequin head or inside its original hair netting without tightening the drawstring to prevent any structural distortion.
